Hot Chocolate made with Keurig Brewer is watered-down?
We have a Keurig B40 Gourmet Single Cup Home Brewing System, and it makes very good, strong coffee and tea. But when we use the hot chocolate packs, the hot chocolate tastes very watered-down, and it just doesn't taste very chocolately. Is this normal? Are we doing something wrong or is there a different setting for hot chocolate that we are missing? Thanks for the help, we appreciate it.

Make sure you have your Keurig set for the 8oz cup size (aka 7.25oz). Most people keep their Keurig set for the 10 oz cup which is a mug size. Also, be sure to shake the K-Cup before inserting it into the K-Cup slot. By the way... The place I work in sells Gloria Jean's and Green Mountain hot cocoa K-Cups. We sell far more of the Green Mountain K-Cups than we do the Gloria Jean's. So I'm assuming Green Mountain has a more pronounced flavour. K-Cups in Hot Cocoa are also made by Bellaccino. But for some reason, we do not stock it. Timothy's also makes hot cocoa K-cups, in White Chocolate flavour.

Trying to decide on an Espresso/Coffee Machine?
I'm going away to college and while I'm not a big coffee drinker I LOVE lattes and the like. I'm trying to decide between 3 different machines. The Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UVZ2DE/ref=s9_simh_gw_p79_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0HEGR26XYP1D44K7PTCR&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846 The Breville Brewing System http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002MZYZHU/ref=s9_simh_gw_p79_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=033CGCEGK2WJ0GDHSTYM&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938811&pf_rd_i=507846 The Nespresso Citiz Machine http://www.amazon.com/Nespresso-D120-US-BK-NE-Automatic-Single-Serve-Limousine/dp/B002NGNHBS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1309659482&sr=1-1 I like the variety of the K-cups that the Breville offers the best, as I'm sure with over 200 different flavors for different drinks, including iced drinks, I can find something I like but if I do get that machine I'd also have to get a milk frother... Whereas the Lattissima has a frother included and the Citiz comes with one. I guess it just comes down to what would be the best choice? I think for simpleness in mind the Lattissima would be best but as far as variety the Breville would win hands down... On another note: The Breville supposedly has quiet-brew technology, which I'm sure my roommate would love me for whereas the Nespresso machines sound like a tractor is rolling through the room...

For less than another $100 beyond the cost of the Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima, you could get a full-fledged super-auto such as DeLonghi ESAM3300 Magnifica Super-Automatic. If you love lattes and can afford a super-auto, you (and your friends) will love the convenience and quality of the drinks they produce. The higher cost of a super automatic is due to precise machinery that carefully regulates temperature and pressure at the right levels and durations to produce high-quality espresso like at Starbucks. Note that some people claim to do it all themselves with presses etc, but getting to the level of proficiency and having to fuss for a cup of coffee/espresso/latte can be real impediments on days when you just want it without trouble or delay.

Coffee drinkers! do you believe in Tassimo?
I drink one cup of coffee a day in my office and it has to be fresh and original (I grind coffee beans everyday and brew it in a regular coffee machine). My new decision is to bring the coffee habit to home. I have few concerns about the Tassimo system: 1)Is the price of a single T-disk not expensive compared to coffee beans or round coffee? 2)Does the taste of the coffee dramatically better than regular filter coffee? (Is it more like coffeehouse style? 3)Can I find the T-disks everywhere or it’s just online? 4)Is it easy to cleanup? 5)Does the whole T-disk idea make more plastic waste? I guess the overall question is "do I get the Tassimo or stick with the same old-fashion filter coffee?" I appreciate all your inputs and experiences.

Keurig would be a better solution, More variety of cups available, you can even buy reusable cups that you can load with your own choice of coffee.
